Our Group: A LinkedIn Success Story

So here’s a cool bit of news.  A few weeks ago we had an opportunity to share the story of our group with the folks at LinkedIn.  If you are not yet a member, click on the link below:

If you are a member you know that it is a place for job seekers, career changers and anyone going through something big in life.  A place to meet new people, learn from them and teach them something you know.

It is also a great place to meet, interact with and learn from various career experts.  A huge member benefit.

So after we shared the story of our group with LinkedIn, we got word that our group had been selected as a success story.

Why?  Because while you can use the site to search for jobs, connect with old friends and grow your business.  You can also use it to help people.  And that’s what our group is all about.

New members write detailed intros.  We share small wins.  We seek to help as often as we can.

It is a closed group which allows for a more open dialogue.  We have real discussions about what’s happening in our lives.  Which makes makes social networking interesting, rewarding and authentic.
